Poverty part 2

Okay,
So here are the new ideas for you to chew on about hunger and poverty. Tying into economics, the work force (as I got from our worker’s right muckraker Hannah) is totally being outsourcing to other countries. Come on! We are in recession and we are sending jobs in the food industry over to Africa (yes, Africa. The one with NO FOOD) and South America. In our mad dash to get more food, we are hurting the land and food distribution of other countries, not to mention wrecking our own economy. What the Favier?! And on top of that, we have a ton of arable land to cultivate our food. Another soccer connection, during the World Cup, ESPN and Mad Money did stories on how most of our oranges are imported from South Africa… and we do have the resources to do it ourselves. While oranges aren’t actually indigenous to Florida, they do thrive in the climate and are well cultivated there.  So the bottom line is that we hurt our economy by outsourcing and other countries food supply (we take their food basically) by this method. The corn capitalists decision… NO MORE OUTSOURCING OF FOOD JOBS!!!!!!!
